Looking for a good place to eat? This town is full of delicious treats that will satisfy even the biggest appetites.
The town of Wall was named after the natural barrier that seperates the dry-grasslands and the spires of the badlands. “The Wall” as it is known, streaches for miles across the South Dakota prairie.
With his business failing, local shop owner, Ted Hustead, put up signs along the interstate offering free ice water to travelers. The gimmic worked and thousands of people poured into the town. The World Famous Wall Drug Store still provides free ice water to this day.
This small town has grown into a huge tourist destination. During the summer months, Wall attracts nearly 20,000 visitors daily!
